About the Workshop
Thematic and topics of the workshop:
(1) Nanotechnology & Nanomaterials,
(2) Printed Electronics,
(3) Photonics,
(4) Energy harvesting devices/ systems & novel Energy technologies,
(5) Advanced Infrastructure with integrated sensors e.g. IoT in buildings, greenhouses, etc., and
(6) Technologies highly relevant to Crete ecosystem e.g. novel digital tech’s, materials, sensors, etc. for agriculture, etc.
Our target is to bring together (1) people mainly involved in business and related entrepreneurial activities in the ecosystem of Crete and whole Greece, e.g. people from start-ups, SMEs or even large enterprises, incubators, technology parks and excellence hubs, technology transfer organizations, etc., (2) people from the local authorities working to boost innovation in Crete and general in Greece, and (3) people from academia working in the fields of Nanotechnology & Nanomaterials e.g. functional nanomaterials for optoelectronic applications (catalysis, optics, etc.), Printed Electronics, Photonics, Energy harvesting devices/ systems & novel Energy technologies.
